A two piece rock band from the North West of England with songs & a sound that not only separates them from other two pieces but other bands. Their sound has been described as Rock/Prog/Dance/Funk (all styles they happily take influence from) but they simply see their selves as a rock band.
Originally an experimental Bass & Drum duo created by Phil Ireland & featured Adam Darwen on drums, the sound has evolved into the range of a 3 piece band.
In this period of the bands evolution, Peat Hicks took over as the bands full time drummer.
Phil & Peat played together for 5 years in their previous band (Exit State) as Bassist & Drummer & have gone on to write the self titled 'Breaking Waves' album together.
Together they have impressive accolades under their belts, playing along side Black Stone Cherry/Michael Schenker/Gun/Reckless Love/Mallory Knox & touring all over the UK & Europe in venues such as The Ritz Manchester/02 Arena Glasgow/Shepard’s Bush Empire & have played festivals such as Kendal Calling/ HRH & Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Explosive & High Energy performers live, with a sound that matches their recorded material & a great imagination for music videos.
